Graphical User Interface
In early computers, there was very little UI except for a few buttons at the operator’s console. A user was then provided with UI, which was a display screen with command line, keyboard, and set of commands. Later, GUI pitched in, providing the easiest modes for the user to see everything pictorially. This paper is mainly aimed for the reader to focus on understanding GUI basics: usability, standards, and steps to perform GUI validation testing.
