XUnit test automation

This chapter is meant to introduce the XUnit terminology used throughout the book and to explain how the framework operates beneath the covers. These patterns will eventually be rewritten in the new format so please focus on the content rather than the wording. XUnit is a family of Test Automation Frameworks, one for each programming language to which it has been ported. ?Hand-Scripted Tests? are usually automated using the same programming language as that used for building the SUT.
