ebXML was the first major Service Oriented Architecture developed using XML as a core technology. With participation from over 75 countries worldwide, it now appears to be enjoying rapid growth in the European Union. This overview of ebXML is meant to give attendees a full understanding of ebXML and its subsystems, Specifically, Metadata Management (Registry/Repository) , Messaging Systems, Service Level Agreements (CPP/A), Process Management (BPSS), a Technical Architecture, Modelling Methodology and Adoption statements and future work.
